Understanding the role

What is home nursing?

Home nursing is hospital-based care delivered at a different geography — the patient's home. The clinical standards are the same as hospital, using similar medical equipment and digital reporting platforms. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1 across a full 12-hour shift.

It requires more clinical independence, communication skill, and emotional intelligence than most hospital roles. It is the fastest growing nursing speciality in the world.

The International Council of Nurses has formally recognised home-based nursing as a specialist clinical discipline.

"Nursing encompasses autonomous and collaborative care of individuals of all ages, families, groups and communities, sick or well and in all settings."

Everything you want to know

Visa · DHA · Salary · Training · Family · Documents · What a typical shift looks like...

No. You need to be eligible for DHA licensing. Once you join Enayati we guide you through the process and support your application. Your DHA licence is built into your career pathway from day one.
RN — Registered Nurse — requires a BScN or equivalent degree. RNA — Registered Nurse Assistant — requires a Diploma in Nursing. Both roles are part of the Enayati clinical team and follow the same CARF-standard protocols.
You arrive at your patient's home, review the clinical notes from the previous shift, assess your patient, and manage their care plan across the full 12 hours. Depending on your patient's needs you may accompany them to hospital appointments, liaise with the MDT, and document on the EMR platform. Every shift is different.
Yes — and many Enayati nurses do exactly this. During patient rest periods you have genuine protected study time. Enayati nurses have passed NCLEX, OSCE, IELTS, and other international licensing examinations while working full-time.
Your contract is renewed based on performance. Currently around 30% of Enayati nurses renew and continue building their career here. Around 30% move to hospital positions in Dubai and the UAE. Around 30% take their Enayati credentials and move internationally — to the UK, Canada, Australia, and beyond. Whichever path you choose — Enayati has prepared you for it.
Enayati salary packages are comparable to — and in many cases higher than — equivalent hospital nursing positions in Dubai. Tax-free. Paid on time. Every time. Specific packages are discussed at interview stage and determined by role, educational background, and years of experience.
Tell them the hospital appointed us. Enayati is appointed directly by Dubai's leading hospitals — Mediclinic, American Hospital, Cleveland Clinic — to continue the care of their patients at home. The hospital doctors are still following up. The clinical standards are the same. The hospital has not discharged the patient — it has extended its care into the home, and Enayati is the team delivering it. We only provide care in homes that meet hospital rules and regulations. Every patient we manage is under the supervision of a hospital physician. You are not leaving the hospital system. You are the part of it that goes furthest for the patient.
There are three stages — each with its own document requirements.

Documents by stage

Interview Valid passport · Nursing degree certificate · Current nursing licence · Updated CV
Offer Dataflow verification · DHA eligibility assessment · 2 reference letters · Good standing certificate
Visa Medical fitness certificate · Police clearance · Passport copies · Attested academic transcripts
Not ready on every document? Apply anyway — tell us where you are in the process. We work with nurses at different stages and will guide you through what is missing.
No. There are no agency fees and no recruitment fees of any kind. Enayati recruits directly. You apply directly to us — no middleman, no charges. Ever.
